What is the goal of Emergsource.com?
My goal is to provide a useful and educational website that highlights the practice of community (non-academic) emergency medicine. The site will initially consist of a topical blog, and over time I will be adding static educational content that will help to serve as a curriculum for the medical students and residents who rotate through my department.
How does EmergSource.com anonymize patient information?
I don’t, because there is no patient information on this site. Any cases presented are fictitious and designed to illustrate a learning point. The majority of these cases are examples taken from my bank of oral and written exam questions.
Who are you?
I’m Dr. Aaron Johnston, a Canadian emergency physician who works in a large community hospital.
